Hi-Tec Oils Mallala Homecoming Completes 2025 Trico Trans Am Series Calendar

A brand-new event, the Hi-Tec Oils Mallala Homecoming, is the final piece of the puzzle to be added to the 2025 Trico Trans Am Series calendar.

Mallala Motorsport Park is set to feature Trans Am racing under twilight in a two-day event from November 21-22, slotting in as the penultimate round of the season.

In 2025 the iconic South Australian circuit will welcome back national competition for the first time in over a decade, with the on-track product from Trans Am just one part of what will be a celebratory weekend at the Mallala Homecoming.

Mallala has a storied history, the 2.61 kilometre circuit’s origins dating back as far as 1961. After a brief tenure on the sidelines Mallala reopened for car racing in 1982, and the circuit has become a staple for both local and national racing ever since.

The Hi-Tec Oils Mallala Homecoming marks the culmination of a focused campaign from The Bend to bring Mallala Motorsport Park back to its former glory and a staple on the national motorsport calendar.

The announcement also confirms that the 2025 Trans Am season will once again conclude with a spectacular doubleheader, this time localised in South Australia, with Mallala located roughly 55 kilometres north-west of the Adelaide Parklands Circuit.

Teams and drivers will wrap up on Saturday night in Mallala, before taking to the VAILO Adelaide Grand Final from Thursday in what will be a hotly anticipated return following a thrilling title-deciding weekend in 2024.
