Hi-Tec Oils extend support for Bathurst 6 Hour through 2026
HI-TEC OILS will extend their support of the Bathurst 6 Hour for a further three years, extending the partnership between one of Australia’s largest independent oil manufacturers and Bathurst’s biggest enduro to a full decade.
Hi-Tec Oils has supported the Bathurst 6 Hour since its launch in 2016, with the new agreement to take the partnership through to at least 2026.
The extension was announced live on the Nine Network and Stan Sport today at Mount Panorama, as a bumper field prepares for the 2023 race – with the grid for the Easter Sunday enduro set earlier today.
Hi-Tec Oils are one of Australia’s largest independent oil manufacturers with warehouses in every state of Australia, producing a wide range of products for petrol and diesel engines, transmissions plus a wide array of products for the automotive industry.
The brand has been a passionate supporter of Australian Motorsport, including the Bathurst 6 Hour, for many years.
The Bathurst 6 Hour evolved from the previous Bathurst Motor Festival and has since become a staple of the Mount Panorama racing calendar.
The event has averaged 56 starters since its formation and for the last three has received more than 70 entries from Production Car competitors looking to tackle the Mountain.
Last year the event attracted a record three-day attendance of 18,422 people.
The Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour doubles as the second round of the 2023 Shannons SpeedSeries, this weekend including the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS Championship and GT4 / Australian Production Cars races.
