GRM confirms talent for S5000 Open test

GARRY Rogers Motorsport has confirmed the young talent to pilot their S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship fleet at the upcoming ‘S5000 Open’ test at The Bend Motorsport Park.

To be held on Tuesday, 20 September, a host of first-time S5000 drivers will sample the cars for the first time.

Versa Motorsport recently confirmed their fleet of talent, while GRMs equally strong group of drivers add more depth to the field assembled.

Formula Ford graduate Noah Sands (pictured) currently leads the 2022 Australian Formula 3 Series as he continues to impress in his junior career.

Sands races for Gilmour Racing in F3 and holds a handy lead in the standings with three rounds to go.

Jude Bargwanna will become the third member of his family to drive a GRM-operated machine, following in the footsteps of cousin Ben and uncle, Jason.

Bargwanna is currently racing in Australian Formula Ford and paired with his cousin to contest the Bathurst 6 Hour earlier this year.

Rounding out GRMs fleet will be Beau Russell, a talented Karter with a host of international experience already under his belt. Russell has also been selected to compete in the Ferrari Driver Academy Regional Selection Program as he chases selection in the brand’s young driver roster.

Tim Macrow Racing and reigning champions Team BRM will also field drivers at the S5000 open, with those names to be announced in due course.
