After finishing runner up in last year’s title to Melbourne Performance Centre driver Yasser Shahin, Prince Ibrahim alongside van Gisbergen has launched a new predominantly blue livery for his second full-season in Australia.

It also marks the maiden season for Triple Eight Race Engineering as the Australian and New Zealand agent for Mercedes-AMG, supporting entries in both the top level GT3 class as well as in GT4.

Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Jamie Whincup paired up with Prince Ibrahim last year following an injury to van Gisbergen ruled the noted GT ace out, with the duo finishing second and third at Phillip Island, which also hosted last year’s season opener.

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS will be supported by an impressive array of racing categories, including the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, Turtle Wax Trans Am Series, the S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship and plenty more.
