Scott Taylor links up with Ashley Seward Motorsport for Bathurst
For the first time in 2021, Ashley Seward Motorsport will field an entry in GT World Challenge Australia.
Scott Taylor has elected to run double duty and enter his Porsche GT3-R in the Trophy Class. The decision for Taylor to run the Porsche rather than his Mercedes in the GT competition has come down to his need to switch between categories over the weekend.

“We decided the Porsche would be more similar to the Carrera Cup car, obviously both being the same manufacturer means it has the same sort of styling in the cockpit and there are no massive changes between the cars,” Taylor said.
“Given the year we’ve had, and the limited racing it drew me towards wanting to do as much racing as possible at the end of the year. Plus, Bathurst being Bathurst it had to be done.
“I’m loving the time I’ve been spending in Carrera Cup as well this year, it’s a really well run group with a quality field which is always hotly contested.
“I’m just excited to get to Bathurst, it’s amazing in everything from a pushbike to a GT car,” Taylor concluded.
Opening practice for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS begins at 9:50am AEDT Tuesday, November 29.
