TCR fan event set for race week in Bathurst

For the first time in the series’ history, fans will have the chance to meet the drivers of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series in public, ahead of this weekend’s TCR Bathurst 400 season finale at Mount Panorama.

An all-in driver signing and fan event will be held at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst store at 3 Stockland Drive, Kelso, from 4:30pm-5:30pm on Monday, November 29.

Fans will also have the chance to view two genuine TCR Australia racecars up close before they hit the track at Mount Panorama, with John Martin’s Mobil 1 Honda Civic Type R and Aaron Cameron’s Valvoline Peugeot 308 TCR to be displayed at the event.

Free TCR Bathurst 400 event posters and Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series stickers will be on offer at the event, as well as giveaways of unique TCR Australia caps.

Hyundai Motorsport keen to send guest TCR driver for Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series

Two Volkswagens for Purple Sector at TCR Bathurst 400

Zac Soutar reveals new sponsor and livery ahead of TCR Bathurst 400

Supercheap Auto TCR Australia privateer Zac Soutar has revealed an eye-catching new livery ahead of the category’s longest ever races at the TCR Bathurst 400.

The family-run Team Soutar Motorsport Honda Civic Type R will feature primary support from commercial print paper product company Spicers, which aligns closely with the Soutar’s printing business away from the track.

Christopher Mies to do double duties at Bathurst

Factory Audi Sport driver Christopher Mies will make his return to Bathurst at the end of this month where he will compete double duty in both the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS and Supercheap Auto TCR Australia season finales.

Regarded as one of the world’s best GT drivers, Mies has been associated with Audi Sport since 2008 and raced within its R8 LMS GT3 program for more than a decade.

Swyftx joins Jordan Cox for Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series Bathurst finale

Australian-owned crypto currency exchange Swyftx has taken the primary position on Jordan Cox’s Garry Rogers Motorsport Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR for the TCR Bathurst 400.

Cox’s usual white and orange livery has been transformed into blue to match the corporate colours of Swyftx, while his season-long sponsors remain.

“It’s very exciting and I can’t wait to hit the Mountain adorned in the Swyftx colours,” said Cox.

Jay Hanson reveals tribute livery for TCR Bathurst 400

Melbourne Performance Centre young gun Jay Hanson will race with a special tribute livery next week featuring primary sponsorship from his long-time supporter Pana Group for next week’s TCR Bathurst 400.

“One of my sponsors, who has literally been with me all the way through go karts, pretty much been with me since day one unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago,” Hanson explained.

“It’s more of a tribute to him and his family for everything they’ve done for us, so we thought we’d give them a little something back in return.”
