SALOON CAR RACER STEPS UP
The Victorian driver contested several rounds of the national Super 6 Touring Car series last year as well as racing as a regular front runner in the Victorian series.
He will race the ex-FPR Ford that has been driven in recent years by Tony Evangelou in the Kumho series.
“I am very excited to be able to announce I have signed with 501 Performance to race their V8 Supercar in the Kumho V8 Touring Car series this year” Wright posted on his Facebook page.
“It is a huge opportunity for me and I can’t thank Tony Scott and the whole 501 team enough for giving me a shot! It will be a huge learning curve but can’t wait to see how this beast goes”
