BOWE LAUNCHES NEW TCM LIVERY

JOHN BOWE and the Bendigo Retro Muscle Cars team has shown off the newest livery for JB’s TCM Holden Torana that will tackle the 2016 title.

The stunning new red and white livery designed by Scott Yorston of SS Media includes continued support from PAYCE and Wilson Security as well as JB’s long-serving core of supporters.

2016 will see Bowe’s first ever ‘full time’ campaigin in a Holden after he started his successful 2015 season in his faithful Ford Mustang ‘Sally’.

Steven Johnson took over the Ford for a majority of the balance of the year as Bowe switched to the stunning SL/R 5000 built lovingly by Gary O’Brien and his Bendigo squad – winning his first ever races in a Holden product in the process.

Bowe has yet to confim if Johnson will return to drive ‘Sally’ this year with the team still working hard to raise the required sponsorship.

Bowe will again be one of several Holden Torana’s on the grid this year with he and young Tassie charger Adam Garwood both running Holden 308 V8 powered examples.

Jason Gomersal will return with his iSeek Racing SL/R 5000 powered by the five-litre Chev engine.

Gomersal has tested several times at Queensland Raceway recently alongside Matt Stone Racing’s V8 Supercars with the iSeek driver posting competitive times.

Round 1 of the 2016 Touring Car Masters Series commences at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide this March.
